All roads lead to Leipzig! And to Pride.
Leipzig’s Augustusplatz (Link to Google Maps) is the focal point of this years Pride. This is where the central rally takes place, from which the demonstration starts, which finally ends again on Augustplatz and turns into the street festival.
Augustusplatz is located on the eastern edge of Leipzig’s city center, just a few minutes’ walk from the main station. If walking is not an option for you, you can reach the Augustplatz from the main station with tram lines 4, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15 and 16. The stops in the city center are largely barrier-free.
Please consider that due to our demonstrations, there may be temporary restrictions in public transport around the city center and it is best to find out in advance about any diversions. You can find up-to-date information at any time from the Leipzig public transport company.
Our hotel partner
The Intercity Hotel Leipzig is not far from the main station. Located on the northern edge of Leipzig’s city center, it is the ideal starting point for exploring on foot or by train. The Leipzig Zoo and a large shopping center are in the immediate neighbourhood.
The hotel can be easily reached with all tram lines via the main station and Goerdelerring. Augustplatz, the start and end point of the Pride demo and location of the street festival, can be reached from here in about 10-15 minutes on foot.
