All roads lead to Leipzig!
And to Pride. Augustusplatz is the centre of the Leipzig Pride. This is where the central rally takes place, from where the demonstration starts and finally ends back at Augustusplatz, where the street party takes place immediately afterwards.
Augustusplatz is located on the eastern edge of Leipzig’s city centre, just a few minutes’ walk from the main railway station. If walking is not an option for you, you can reach Augustusplatz on tram lines 4, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15 and 16. The stops in the city centre are largely barrier-free.
Please bear in mind that there may be considerable restrictions on public transport and on the streets around the city centre at times due to our demonstration and it is best to find out about any diversions in advance. You can find up-to-date information at any time from the Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe (LVB).
If it is possible for you to walk the last few metres, we recommend that you use the stops Hauptbahnhof, Markt, Johannissplatz and Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz.
If possible, please avoid driving directly to Augustusplatz by car on the day of the demonstration and instead use parking facilities outside the city centre.

Intercity Hotel Leipzig
The Intercity Hotel Leipzig is located not far from the main railway station. Situated on the northern edge of the city centre, it is the ideal starting point for exploring the city on foot or by train. Leipzig Zoo and a large shopping centre are in the immediate vicinity.
The hotel can be easily reached by all tram lines via the main railway station and Goerdelerring stops. Augustplatz, the start and end point of the CSD demonstration and venue of the street festival, can be easily reached from here by tram or in 10 to 15 minutes on foot.
LÉGÈRE EXPRESS Leipzig
You will find LÉGÈRE EXPRESS Leipzig on Prager Straße. Located south-east of the city centre, you can also explore the city from here on foot or by train. For example, follow Prager Straße out of the city centre to get to the famous Völkerschlachtdenkmal, one of our city’s landmarks.
The hotel can be reached by tram via the Ostplatz stop. Augustplatz, the venue for the CSD, can also be easily reached from here by tram or in around 10 to 15 minutes on foot.
